Heartland has a proven track record of steady growth while maintaining properties in top-notch condition. We look for managers and staff that have the same standards. Many of our people have been with us for 5 years or longer, and a good number have been with us since our inception. The salary and benefits package is very competitive.

Our General Managers have the freedom to operate the business as if it were their own. They must be willing to make decisions and take risks to achieve their goals. They create their own budgets each year. We do not have a secretary for each GM; but we also do not ask the GM to send us a daily report on everything that happened the day before. Our managers are asked to manage the hotel and deal personally with staff and guests, not to fill out reports.
